The herb in the is blend that stands out the most is actually horsetail. A 2021 review of research found that horsetail may have potential as a therapy for kidney conditions, including urethritis and kidney stones, but also promotes hair growth, can fight against the damages of free radicals because they contain antioxidants. Antioxidants prevent cancer and organ damage and may help to alleviate pain by reducing inflammation. And the most interesting aspect of horsetail is that it is a well-documented and studied heavy metal chelation herb. Similar to cilantro, horsetail literally pulls heavy metals from the earth and helps remineralize the soil. It also does the same job in our bodies.
